2009 Mardi Gras Fees and Deadline
The 26th Annual Mardi Gras Ball soccer tournament will cost $400 plus a refundable performance bond. The deadline for receiving entries is January 17th. Contact the Tournament Director, Cindy Perret, with any questions.

2009 Mardi Gras Date Set
The 26th Annual Mardi Gras Ball soccer tournament will be held from February 13-15 at Lafreniere Park. The Host Hotel with be the Four Points Sheraton in Metarie.

Fall Season Start Delayed By Gustav
Lafreniere Park has advised us that the park will be closed to soccer this weekend. It is anticipated we will start Sept 14.

Fall Season Begins September 7th
The Fall 2008 season will begin the Sunday after Labor Day. Registration will be held on Saturday, August 16th. As there is a tournament scheduled for Lafrienere Park on Sept 21 and November 16, the season will stretch into December.

Mardi Gras Ball A Success
The 2008 Women's Soccer Tournament was a great success. A big 'Thank You' to all the teams who travelled from Georgia, Texas, Florida and Louisiana to compete.
Congratulations to the Winners: Division I was won by the Lafayette Heat with the Shooters coming in second place. LA Bon Temps took 3rd and Atlanta Soccer was fourth. Division was won by Real Espana with Palm Beachers coming in second. Sure Shots took 3rd and Tsunamis came in fourth.

This year sees even more teams returning to the annual Mardi Gras Ball. There are nineteen teams scheduled to begin play on Saturday, March 1.

Mardi Gras Ball 2007 is a Success
Seventeen teams traveled to New Orleans from Texas, Georgia and across Louisiana. The results and standings are posted on the Mardi Gras page. Registration is Now Closed
The 2007 Mardi Gras Ball Tournament registration is now closed. Sixteen teams from Georgia, Louisiana and Texas have made arrangements to come to New Orleans and play soccer on February 10 and 11, 2007.

The 24th Annual Women's Soccer Tournament will be held on February 10 and 11. Tournament registration will be held that Friday at the host hotel. See the Mardi Gras page for more information.

At 10am on Sunday Aug. 20th, Fall Registration will be held at the Pj's on Metairie road. You will need to bring with you: registration forms for everyone on your team and a single check for the full amount of the # players you are registering.
