Welcome to the Greater New Orleans Women’s Soccer League online.

We hope this site will help you learn more about us. Our league is diverse, fun, and competitive, and we welcome players at all skill levels.

GNOWSL is a recreational nonprofit league for women ages 17 and up. During the spring and fall, we play scheduled, refereed games on Sunday mornings at the Lafreniere Park in Metairie, Louisiana. See the Schedule page for game times and map to the field.

The Fall season will begin on September 7, 2008. Pre-season practice will be held on Wednesday, August 13 at Lafreniere Park, Field 4 at 6pm. Registration will be held on the afternoon of August 16th.

Each season we look forward to new players and teams joining us. Two teams (Real Espana and Fury) are seeking players. If you need any information you don’t see on this site, feel free to contact one of the League’s officers listed on the Contacts page and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.
