Fall Season Begins September 7th
The Fall 2008 season will begin the Sunday after Labor Day. Registration will be held on Saturday, August 16th. As there is a tournament scheduled for Lafrienere Park on Sept 21 and November 16, the season will stretch into December.

Mardi Gras Ball A Success
The 2008 Women's Soccer Tournament was a great success. A big 'Thank You' to all the teams who travelled from Georgia, Texas, Florida and Louisiana to compete.
Congratulations to the Winners: Division I was won by the Lafayette Heat with the Shooters coming in second place. LA Bon Temps took 3rd and Atlanta Soccer was fourth. Division was won by Real Espana with Palm Beachers coming in second. Sure Shots took 3rd and Tsunamis came in fourth.

More Teams to the Mardi Gras Ball
This year sees even more teams returning to the annual Mardi Gras Ball. There are nineteen teams scheduled to begin play on Saturday, March 1.

We ended another successful soccer season with Mudbugs taking the number one spot after winning all ten of their games. The spring season will begin in 2008, following the Mardi Gras Ball Soccer Tournament.

The season begins on September 9. The schedule is posted on the schedule page and is available for download. Check the schedule carefully, as there are differing times and fields on dates of Saints home games. Also, two weekends will have games at LaSalle.

Mardi Gras Ball 2007 is a Success
Seventeen teams traveled to New Orleans from Texas, Georgia and across Louisiana. The results and standings are posted on the Mardi Gras page. Congratulations to Division I winners Rangers from Austin and Division II winners Aeros from Atlanta. Thanks to all the attending teams and we hope to see you next year.

Registration is Now Closed
The 2007 Mardi Gras Ball Tournament registration is now closed. Sixteen teams from Georgia, Louisiana and Texas have made arrangements to come to New Orleans and play soccer on February 10 and 11, 2007.

The Four Points by Sheraton will be the Host Hotel for the Mardi Gras Ball Tournament. The Hotel is located across the street from Lafreniere Park. Please contact them at 888-627-9017.

The 24th Annual Women's Soccer Tournament will be held on February 10 and 11. Tournament registration will be held that Friday at the host hotel. See the Mardi Gras page for more information.

At 10am on Sunday Aug. 20th, Fall Registration will be held at the Pj's on Metairie road. You will need to bring with you: registration forms for everyone on your team and a single check for the full amount of the # players you are registering. If you cannot make it to registration, please email Rachel and she will try work around that.
